Dr. Hom is a true professional who produces high quality work. He does braces for children when their baby teeth are gone (most of the case) and always goes extra miles for his patients. He has great supporting staff and pleasant office environment. His work worth every penny!All my three children are under Dr. Hom's care. First child finished her adjustment in high school and is in college second year now. Her dentist said Dr. Hom did an excellent job and it's totally a textbook case. People can't compliment enough how pretty her teeth look. Dr. Hom still sees her once a year.My second child is a sophomore in high school and only has minor adjustment, almost done, looks beautiful!My third child has the most teeth problems: cavities, over and under and cross bites, and over-sized teeth for her small mouth. Dr. Hom fixed her overbite that was hurting her gum when she was 8 years old. That's when I realized Dr. Hom has excellent skills to make the teeth and jar go certain way. Dr. Hom has been monitoring her growth (and fall) of teeth since then. He wants to make sure she doesn't develop "masculine jar". You see Dr. Hom has a great sense of beauty. Now she is 12 years old with all the permanent teeth in place. She can't wait to get her real braces.

Professional and friendly, Dr. Hom runs a great orthodontic practice. At the age of 40, my dentist recommended I get braces to correct a bite issue. Dr. Hom corrected my bite and I no longer wake up with headaches from clenching my teeth at night. As an extra bonus, the braces also straightened my bottom teeth that had shifted as an adult. I now have the perfect smile! Not only is Dr. Hom and his staff great with adults, but I was always amazed how they talked to their younger patients, making them feel comfortable and important. t can be difficult to be an informed consumer when it comes to orthodontia. However, when three dentists (one in Santa Monica and two in the South Bay) and one endodontist said Dr. Hom would be their "first choice" for our son's orthodontist, the choice was easy. More importantly, Dr. Hom always had enough time to give my son's case the time it deserved.Dr. Hom's work is always "neat." If you are looking for beautifully aligned teeth, Dr. Hom and his team are the place to go. My son had a particularly difficult case, as he had not lost some of his baby teeth on time, which yielded in overcrowding and overlapping of his teeth. On our first visit Dr. Hom assured us that he would be able to correct the issue and make my son have a beautiful smile. He was true to his word because he did an incredible job. Living in the beach cities, there were several orthodontists to choose from. After meeting with four, my kids (and I) all agreed to go with Dr. Hom...whom after asking around, had done several of my friends kids teeth...Dr. Hom is thorough and always explains what needs to be done. Always professional, the best is how he interacts with my kids...both teenagers, they never complain of having to go see him.The front office staff is friendly; the office is clean with a great ocean breeze. Dr. Hom did an excellent job on my son's teeth. I am extremely picky and questioned him every step along the way. Dr. Hom was patient and answered all of my questions. My son's teeth look amazing. If only we had met Dr Hom sooner. We took our daughter to another orthodontist in the region and began the process of adjusting her teeth. Over time we began to doubt the service he was providing because of certain additional things he wanted to do, which we later found out were completely unnecessary. We discovered Dr Hom and shifted to his office in the middle of the overall process, and couldn't be more pleased with the experience and the results. After our initial meeting with him, we knew for certain that he was the one we should have connected with from the beginning. Dr Hom had to correct a bad decision that the previous orthodontist made, and he fixed the condition properly. If you spend 20 minutes with him and have him explain what is, and isn't, necessary, you will come to the same conclusion. His manner is relaxed, yet confident and reassuring. Our daughter has just completed the process and we are delighted with the results. Our son may need the same treatment in the future, and there is no doubt who we will trust to do the work competently, and with excellent results.

Dr Hom is an orthodontic genius. I've been taking my twins to him because one had more extensive needs and he is known in the community as a true scientist when it comes to difficult cases. The office runs efficiently with check-ups available during and after school hours, even with coordinating appointments for two at a time. My first kid just got her braces off today and I don't think I've ever seen her so happy! All technologies are used to insure a precision bite, as well as the most beautiful smile. His approximate time of treatment was 24-26 months as long as we followed his instructions. Her braces were off in 2 years and 19 days. Thank you Dr. Hom! The investment in her smile and future dental health was absolutely priceless.

My daughter just got her braces off. Her teeth look great. (People call it the Dr Hom smile!) Dr Hom and his staff are very professional, caring and do an overall great job. Dr Hom gave us a treatment plan and quote and everything went along as planned. You hardly ever have to wait in the waiting room, they see you right away. They also get you in and out of the office as quick as possible. If you have an issue, they fit you in and address it right away. This is a large, bright, clean office with an excellent staff. I was referred to Dr. Hom by my kid’s dentist, who recommended him highly above other orthodontists. I have had two children get braces through Dr. Hom’s office and have been extremely pleased with the results and the 2+ year process to get them straightened. His staff is very personable and professional and they keep you on a regular visit schedule, and remind you of them. Because they liked the people, my kids did not ever argue about going there, which was a big plus in my book. The vast majority of the time, my kids were seen immediately and Dr. Hom explained clearly to both myself and my child what was going on and what they needed to do, both visually and verbally. Occasionally, he was short with his explanation, but slowed down and was responsive when questioned and provided more detail. Further, I found the prices fair and appreciated that they allowed us to pay for them over time without interest. I know other parents who have used him and have been equally satisfied.
